August Is Family Fun Month!

Did you know that it is Family Fun Month? We just found out and thought you should know! Since we are a family owned business, we are always interested in families having fun. Therefore, we thought we would give you some links to some websites and blogs that we like that help with families having fun outdoors!
- Live and Let Wander: Live and Let Wander is an awesome blog written by a husband and wife, Elisa and Matt Rispoli. They have 2 young boys and are always looking for their next outdoor adventure. Not only do we love their attitudes about raising your kids outdoors and how they live their lives, but they are also from New Jersey…which makes them EXTRA cool in our eyes!
- Hike It Baby: Hike It Baby is a nonprofit organization that is dedicated to connecting families to one another and getting them outside with a focus on children from birth to school age. This website is a network of hikes in your area, ways to connect with other families, and also with Hike It Baby there are local ambassadors that can help you organize your family’s journey into nature. It can also help you find a community within your community! We can’t say enough about this website and organization and it’s only $10 per year to join!
- Tales of a Mountain Mama: Tales of a Mountain Mama is a great blog to “help inspire families to get outdoors and adventure, even with young children.” Also, they recommend and review gear for you and your family which can be super helpful when you are trying to make an investment. Check it out!
