New Jersey…You Don’t Have To Go Far To Hit The Slopes!

Living in the tri-state area in the last few years has proven to be a bit challenging for us downhill skiiers and snowboarders. The weather has been less than helpful as we have been having 60 degree days in the middle of January (achemmmmm). Whether this is an issue of global warming or not is not what we are here to discuss today! What we are here to discuss is how you can get in your days on the mountain without getting on a plane!
As permanent residents of New Jersey, we have grown up skiing within driving distance of our stores for years. We have learned that you can go North OR West and find great places to get your mountain fix for a simple day trip or a ski vacation! This is not a blog post to give you our favorites, but rather to let you know the great mountains that you have within a few hours of your house! Here are our suggestions in no particular order:

- Campgaw Mountain
- Hunter Mountain
- Windham Mountain
- Belleayre Mountain
- Camelback Mountain
- Shawnee Mountain
- Blue Mountain
