Our Annual Fly Fishing Expo: Meet the Experts

Is Fly Fishing your passion? Then join us for our Fourth Annual Fly Fishing Expo on Saturday, March 14th from 10am to 4pm at ourRamsey location. We hope you are as excited as we are! The day will be filled with fly tying and casting demonstrations, in-store sales, raffles, seminars, and more. But before the big day, let’s get to meet our expert speakers.
- Captain Joe Mattioli: On the Bite Charters -Captain Joe is an Orvis-endorsed Fly fishing guide in New York City and has been a Master USCG Captain for the past 30 years. Specializing in saltwater fly fishing, he has been fishing the local and offshore waters for more than 50 years, and he is also a professional fly tyer. Captain Joe will be speaking at 11:30am on Fly Fishing for Stripers, Flies and Techniques.
- Rick Watson: West Branch Angler Resort in Hancaock, NY - Rick Watson graduated from the Orvis Western Rivers Guide School with the famed Bressler Outfitters in Jackson Hole Wyoming in 1993. Ever since then, he has spent more than two decades guiding for trout and steelhead. He has been fishing the Upper Delaware system for the past eight years and now guides the entire season for West Branch Angler. Rick will be speaking at 1:00pm on Fly Fishing the Upper Delaware River System.
There will be Vendor Representatives from Sage, Redington, Rio, Orvis, and the West Branch Angler Resort. Plus, meet with the East Jersey Unlimited, Coastal Flyrodders, and Joan Wulff Fly Fishers groups. We’ll see you there!
