Here at Ramsey, we are always looking for fresh, new brands to add to our stores. This Fall, we are excited to introduce you to 5 new brands that you’re sure to love! Both in-stores and online you will find the newest additions; Arcade Belts, Melin Hats, Stance Socks, Vans and Vuori. So, let’s meet the new kids on the block.
Arcade Belts: Arcade was founded on the belief that belts could be designed to function better, last longer and be more comfortable. Developed from the ground up with materials that are built to go everywhere and anywhere, each Arcade belt provides a custom fit, sturdy hold, and the right amount of flexibility to move with you.
Melin Hats: Founded by Brian McDonell and Corey Roth, Melin isn’t your ordinary hat. Growing up in Southern California, the pair skated & snowboarded, played baseball & football, and were surrounded by some of the most influential music, art, and fashion in the world. However, they were just as comfortable strolling down Sunset Blvd in a pair of boardshorts. Once they decided they were tired of the everyday ball cap, they spent four years learning how to build, improve and elevate the ball caps that they loved. Researching the most iconic fabric mills in the world and sourcing the best materials available on the planet. Tirelessly working on improving the fit to be sure they were the most comfortable caps they’d ever worn. Their entire life was focused on building the most premium caps that the world had ever seen, and finally, in 2013, Melin was introduced to the World!
Stance Socks: Stance have turned socks into one of the world's most exciting accessories in less than five years. Their founders saw a category that had been ignored, taken for granted, looked over, and dismissed. By creating life into something that had been overlooked, they ignited a movement of art and self-expression that has drawn athletes, performers, and iconic cultural influencers to the brand--a group they call the Punks & Poets. Combining creative roots with a relentless focus on technical innovation, they've ensured that Stance socks are now found in over 40 countries on the feet of those who dare to be different.
Vans: Brothers Paul Van Doren and Jim Van Doren, along with partners Gordon Lee and Serge Delia open for business in Anaheim, Calif. on March 16, 1966. The Van Doren Rubber Company is unique in that it manufactures shoes on premises and sells them directly to the public. Later, the Vans #44 Deck Shoe now known as the “Authentic” was born and in the early 70’ the name House of Vans was coined. Even back then, skateboarders loved the shoes for their rugged makeup and sticky sole. Throughout the 70’s they continued to introduce more of their iconic shoes that we still know and love today, continuing to grow their fan base beyond just skateboarders, and their “Off the Wall” logo made its debut. All of their shoes are inspired by creativity, authenticity, and passion.
Vuori: In 2015, Founder Joe Kudla was seeking active wear that fit his versatile lifestyle; a comfortable product that performed exceptionally well, yet did not sacrifice style. All of the men’s yoga products at the time were made by women's brands and the traditional athletic brands didn't feel fresh and modern. Vuori's thriving active community in Encinitas, CA served as the inspiration for the brand. The idea to build active wear, that didn't look like the magic started out of a little garage.
