Established in 2019, Lake Hopatcong Guide Service is the largest and most reputable freshwater fishing operation in the region. Their guide-staff operates full-time on the two premier fisheries in the area, Lake Hopatcong and Greenwood Lake. In addition, their our fly fishing guides operate on all of the top trout streams in the state. They also offer run numerous Youth Fishing Programs.
Led by full-time guide and founder, Aaron Graybill, our hand-picked guide-staff is loaded with talented anglers, passion for the sport, and good times. Our team is on the water 365 days per year and work tirelessly as a unit to offer the best possible guided fishing trips that our region has to offer.

Our Services
Up to 3 Person Guided Trip
Lake Hopatcong Guide Service offers year-round guided fishing trips for up to 3 guests on New Jersey’s largest lake. Their Lund Deep-V boats are equipped with advanced technology, and they provide all the gear—just show up and fish! Depending on the season and time, you can target species like Walleye, Hybrid Striped Bass, or Panfish.
Up to 8 Person Large Group Charter
Experience private fishing on a spacious 24’ pontoon boat at Lake Hopatcong, perfect for groups of up to 8. Safe and stable for all ages and abilities, it’s ideal for families, friends, or anglers with physical limitations. Spinning rods and tackle are included; live bait costs extra and are quoted based on group size.
Trophy Musky Trip
Fish for the elusive Muskellunge, the Northeast’s apex predator, with top-tier Musky guides. Tailored for skilled anglers (max 2), this trip offers a rare shot at catching the legendary "Fish of 10,000 Casts." The trip is capped at two anglers and we recommend higher-level anglers who are competent casting a baitcaster reel.
Guided Fly Fishing Trip
Spend a day fly fishing with guides Justin Linteris and Matt Califano on New Jersey’s trout streams, targeting stocked Rainbows and wild Browns & Brookies. Tailored to all skill levels, they provide expert instruction and use hand-tied flies, ensuring a rewarding experience on pristine waters.
Professional Bass Experience
Fish with MLF Pro Dan Goykhman on Lake Hopatcong for a pro-level bass fishing experience. Using his Skeeter ZXR21 with advanced sonar and imaging, this trip (for up to 2 guests) offers elite techniques and expert guidance.
