The Kapstan 300 Elite baitcasting reel is available in right- or left-hand retrieve with a 5.4:1 gear ratio which delivers incredible power and torque when fighting large fish, trolling deep diving baits or casting heavy jigging lures. It uses 6 double-shielded, stainless-steel ball bearings plus an instant anti-reverse bearing for a total of 6+1 BB. The spool tensioning nut has click adjustments for accurate control and it won't back off. Kapstan 300 baitcasting reels use a reliable and proven centrifugal braking system that eliminates frustrating overruns even when casting heavy baits. The Kapstan has an on/off switch for the audible spool clicker/strike alert. The KastKing Kapstan 300 Elite baitcasting reel features a braid-ready aluminum spool that eliminates adding mono backing before filling the reel with braid. There's also an indicator on the palm side of the reel, so you never forget which lb. test line you have on your reel. The centrifugal braking system is easily accessed or changed through the palm side cover by easily unlocking the open/close switch but without worrying that it will open accidentally.
