SurfMachine 9'0" 2-Piece Surf Spinning Rod - (SM9)

The Century Rods SurfMachine 9'0" 2-Piece Surf Spinning Rod is derived from the C-2D concept surf rods. This rod was designed with an overhand casting style in mind. The stiffest part of the rod is under the reel seat so it loads like a long bow to the top and bottom of the rod. Along with an easy casting moderate action and a super fast single recovery material, the SurfMachine gives amazing distance to a beginner or pro with little effort while still maintaining a supple tip for working plugs or bite detection. The autoclave technology provides a completely void-free and resin lean composite, while the blended premium carbon fiber construction provides the best possible performance, strength, and durability. The EVA shrink tube grips are non-slip and lightweight and the anti-twist technology keeps the rod blank straight and true, even under torsional loads of casting and fish fighting. This rod also features one coat of slow cure epoxy for reduced weight and delamination.
