There are 4 modes: High, Medium, Low, and Hidden Strobe. To access/exit the Hidden Strobe, press the on/off button for approximately 3 seconds. This light comes with 6 AA included, but innovative electronics allows user to power light on 6 or 3 AA batteries. Run times are excellent with 6 hours on High mode and 67 hours on Low mode.
