Launched by Tecnica Outdoor in February 2018 to specialty retailers across the country, the Forge Collection of trekking boots combine a precise anatomical fit right out-of-the box with effective heat moldable customization capabilities. Ramsey Outdoor is proud to be the only retailer in New Jersey to carry pieces from the Forge Collection. Featuring a technology brand new to footwear, this collection uses Custom Adaptive Shape or C.A.S., which offers a fully heat moldable customization process resulting in a personalized fit in 20 minutes. The Forge Collection is offered in two models for men and women: the Forge GTX, with a nubuk upper, and Forge S GTX, with a proprietary synthetic upper. The Tecnica Forge GTX was awarded the 2018 Editors’ Choice award from Backpacker Magazine at the Outdoor Retailer Snow Show. The award is given to brands that represent the most innovative, best-performing gear the industry has to offer. Also, the Tecnica Forge S GTX hiking boot received the ISPO Product of the Year award in the outdoor category. Selected by an independent jury, prizes at the ISPO trade show in Munich are awarded for best sports products for the coming season from over 500 entries.
